Dr. Dávid Csemány

Researcher, Assistant Professor

Joined September 1, 2025

Dávid's research focuses on energy storage systems, in particular the thermal and electrical modelling of battery technologies. His main research directions are the development of battery management systems, simulation of the thermal behaviour of batteries, and investigation of thermal runaway phenomena and the associated safety questions. His work places particular emphasis on battery cooling technologies and on developing reduced-order models suitable for the system-level analysis and integration of energy storage. He bases his research on numerical models validated against measurement data, with the goal of supporting reliable and efficient energy storage solutions that help the spread of sustainable energy systems built on renewable sources.
